Special delivery stork themed Baby Shower

Special delivery!! This stork themed Party Mums Baby Shower is so girly and delicate. Lots of pink, lots of florals and the grazing table is simply stunning. We cannot wait to give you all the details, this is a first class Baby Shower delivery you don’t want to miss.

As this Baby Shower was a surprise for the Mummy to be, only close family and friends were invited to attend…. keeping it a secret was no easy task. It was decided that a venue would cause suspicion, so instead, it was held at a family members home. The kitchen dining area was split into zones, with the kitchen area hosting the drinks station and sweet treat display and the dining area used for the grazing table and main backdrop.

On arrival at the home, the Mummy to be was surprised to be greeted with a beautiful personalised welcome sign and balloon garland display. Pink, gold and white balloons, embellished with florals and a large stork balloon carrying an ‘It’s a girl’ bundle, sat alongside the classic white wooden easel and welcome sign. A great way to make an impact for your guests arrival and in this case, the star guest.

Once in the main area, the delicate girly theme continued throughout all the decorations and displays. A cute self service ‘Mumosa bar’ for guests to enjoy, included glass carafes filled with juice, bowls with fresh berries and personalised pink script ‘Baby’ champagne glasses. A display of afternoon tea sweet treats, featuring home made scones, petit four and belgian chocolate covered strawberries. Vintage china tea pots and pastel cups and saucers for the hot drinks. Yummy.

Through to the main dining area, a table arch covered in foliage of eucalyptus and baby’s breath, with hanging black cage lanterns was dreamy and gentle. On the table, large letters spelling BABY contained all the savoury food for guests to devour, with a variety of cheese and chutneys, savoury pastries, sandwiches and crudités. It looked so pretty it was almost too good to eat… almost. Also on the main grazing table, were hand made Baby Shower cookies. Oh my goodness, the details, design and colours complimented this stork themed Baby Shower perfectly. Tiny babygrows, prams with knitted blankets, a stork and script writing cookies, in soft pink with floral details, individually wrapped for guests to take home.

Guests mingled and grazed all afternoon, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the convenience of the easy self service food and drinks. To keep guests engaged and to add a little fun to the afternoon, there were baby prediction cards and a fun activity game called ‘Don’t say Baby’. This game ran the whole afternoon and created plenty of laughs and entertainment.

The Mummy to be was showered with beautiful thoughtful gifts and there was plenty of time to share advice and support for the impending new arrival. A gorgeous surprise afternoon, with delicious food, that will always be a special memory for all.

Luckily it was planned not too late in the pregnancy, as baby Violet decided to make an early appearance!!
